Private chat tab

Private chat tab is not showing my messages if the other player is not in the same map/zone where I am.
Same zone shows it like:
Friend: xxxxxxx
Me: xxxxxx
Friend: yyyyy
Me: yyyyyy

and if the other player is in different zone it only shows their messages and not mine, like:
Friend: xxxxxx
Friend: yyyyy
Friend: zzzzzz
