Link with gmail

I download PL and when I try to link with Gmail, the Gmail open in browser and ask me to add Gmail acc and pass
I do it but I take notification from Gmail that someone with linox OS is logg on my gmail
Maybe is mistake but I want to know is it safely to log in with Gmail in PL?

It should be as safe as logging in anywhere else with your google account. It's only getting access to your basic info (profile + address), not access to your actual mailbox or anything. You can always go to your google account settings and revoke access to anything that you don't want to be able to access it.
