Guys I think I have a definite clue...sheild makes sence cause its the onlt word likely(lie) bacwards(EIL) plus the sh from the NEXT sentance(SHadow...) and the last letter of the first paragraph(...worD)

Ok I fixed my lie backwards in shield idea...if you mirror the sheild the letters change order and clockwise make lei/eil/ile so puting lei bacwards in shield works
