Not a day goes by in the forums that someone doesn't mention the now famous Pirate Booty event.As promised, this community fave has gotten a makeover and is ready for its debut! The NEW Pirate Booty event arrives this week. Here's how it works:
Find Cap'n Sinn. You'll find her hanging out by the event portal in Festerfang Outpost (as well as Windmoore, Paradise Pier and Vardan Valley).
Note: "Pirate Booty: Skeleton Crew" is a single-player adventure, balanced for Legends of all levels!
The Cap'n will tell you all about how they need a lone brave soul to help guide some precious cargo safely ashore. Defend that cargo from an onslaught of greedy pirates, and you'll be rewarded with the currency as good as gold in the pirate world: Booty Bucks, which can be traded to Cap'n Sinn for--you guessed it--BOOTY.
She carries 4 different Pirate Booty Chests (tradeable), all which have a chance to drop ever increasing amounts of gold, up to 250k! The bigger the chest, the better the chance for MORE gold. And, of course, some event-appropriate pirate threads to strike fear into the hearts of would-be looters!
When you arrive on the boat, you'll notice 3 large crates on board. Your mission is to defend these crates at all cost. Enter the starting area when you're ready.
You'll need to survive 3 waves of pirates, including a harrowing final round against Cap'n Squall. Don't forget to pick up the gold and Booty Bucks they drop along the way!
If you defeat them all before the crates are destroyed (or you die), you'll be rewarded with SWEET victory, and bonus Booty Bucks. But, don't leave yet!
Cap'n Squall, when defeated, will leap off the side of the boat and leave behind some valuable loot as well, including the chance to drop the 2020 Arcanite Pet Recipe Chest:
This chest, in addition to the advertised Arcanite Pet recipes, has the chance to drop tradeable versions of the Gold Pirate King vanity set, some fancy furnishings,
and a new arcane pet: Dagon!
The Pirate Booty event will run for two weeks, from 7/9 - 7/23, so get crackin' ye land lubbers! And don't forget to check back next week for some potential new event surprises!
