Agreed. This is something that has been suggested a few times in the past and I don't really know why it hasn't been implemented yet.
Class specific leaderboards would be significantly helpful to all classes. There are some events where foxes and rhinos (and to a bit lesser extent bears) cannot compete with the other classes at all when it comes to points, especially in solo gauntlet events like the first Birthday Gauntlet event.
This event we are seeing foxes and rhinos being able to outclass other classes through speed. Because speed buffs do not work in Haunted Castle, foxes and rhinos are able to complete the map much faster than birds, mages, and bears. How much faster? On average, 45-55 seconds faster and this could contribute to significant point gains.
