Preview - Honor CTF Mini-Event!

Honor PvP gets a spicy new option this week: Capture the Flag! It's time to head back to Vardan Valley with your friends and enemies to hash it out, Honor Style.

This event is scheduled to begin at 1:30pm Central on November 5th and run for one (1) week, ending on November 12th.

Don your Honor Gear to enter the Honor PvP portal and take on friends and enemies on a completely even playing field. As before, this is available to level 76 players only.

Note: Honor PvP is only accessible via the gear and portal available in Vardan Valley. It is not accessible via the PvP menu on the World Map.

Here's how it works:

- Visit Vardan Valley and make sure you've completed all of the town quests, then chat with Goody Wells.



- Purchase the 8-piece set of Honor Gear for 100 Vales. This set will include 1 piece of gear for each slot, plus one of each class weapon, as well as 3 honor PvP pets.

- Equip all gear and one honor weapon, then summon your Honor PvP pet (optional). Now you're all set to enter The Arena of Honor portal! The portal is accessible in Vardan Valley Towne near Buddy and the Mogera hole.



- From here, things start to look pretty familiar. Select a mode, then join a team to launch into the CTF map and get ready to rumble!



- Don't forget! Once you're in the map, you can not change your gear.

And, well, you know what to do from there, Legends! Fight hard and fight well.

Another note: Part of the the Honor PvP Code is: Thou shalt not wear Honor Gear outside of PvP. In fact, doing so will give you a debuff in PvE scenarios, so don't forget to change out of it when you're done!


Public Test Feedback

As with past Honor PvP modes, we'll be looking for YOUR feedback on the experience! While nothing has changed with gear, we'd love to know how the Honor format feels for CTF. Lay it on us!

Other PvP Changes!

Speaking of feedback! Honor PvP isn't the only mode getting attention this week. Based on your feedback, we've removed Trulle's Forest from the Ranked PvP map set and have added a brand new map for Ranked Honor PvP: The Crypt!

I noticed in the photo where you choose ctf or tdm it said dm only. Maybe fix that? Cause tdm is different from dm or am I wrong? @Cinco

The option on the portal in Vardan Valley has always been shown as 'Play Honor DM' - while it hasn't caused confusion so far, I can see where it would be more accurate to label the button as 'Play Honor TDM'
I'll put it on my list of things to address in the future. Thanks!

Why neeeded to remove trulle forest from normal pvp? :/ it was good map for 1v1, usually nobody was bothering there... can we have any big map (beach/forest/crypt) for duels please? (duel lasts until 15-20kills, kills dont count for achievements)

This is just a mistake in the post - it was only removed from ranked pvp.

Why don't you guys just do something about spirit gears? I mean leveling them takes forever and still not worthy stats.... Why?
And also the look of spirit weapon is too bad, can't you guys just add something like at certain level spirit gears looks different ( adding some new parts to it, making its structure more better ) and on the highest level it should look just awesome that everyone want that awesome looking weapon.
