Forum users should start receiving emails from us about this issue, but we thought we'd also post on the forums about it.

On November 28th, 2020, Spacetime Studios became aware of an unauthorized intrusion to our forum website. The Spacetime Studios team took immediate action to secure the site, fix the website vulnerabilities, and file a report with the FBI and our local law enforcement authorities.

The intruders gained access to forum account information including:
* Email address
* Salted password hashes
* Date of birth, if provided
* IP address

Your forum account is not related to your Spacetime game account. Spacetime Studios also does not store any game data on the forums. The forums are used strictly to communicate with our players.

We are requesting all forum users change their passwords out of an abundance of caution. If you reuse your email address and password combination with any of our games, we suggest you also change your game password. You can find information on how to change your forum password and/or your game password via the Spacetime Studios support website.

well.I was affected badly by this...i did respond to the email on this matter...hopefully you catch these thugs...i recently returned, it must have happened around the time I came back to play.

Although we now know when the breach occurred, it wasn't actually detected until sometime after. We needed the additional time to secure the site, work with the authorities, and inform the users.

This first time i put tap o talk on my google pixel device doesn't have anything to do with me does it??? normally i go on big google webpage on all Forums site of Spacetime Studios????

Why you gonna delete your account???? you can call your mail or find account and remove game entirely but why Spacetime Studios knows my area and my mail gets angry if any others in my area besides me they know too i get daily reports from my mail NOW!. seems pointless worrying on deletion.
