Greetings, Vampires!
THE DARK SACRAMENT
This week will see the return of the
Dark Sacrament Vendor!
For anyone planning a wedding in June, this is your chance to stock up on tuxedos, wedding dresses, wisps and more.
GUILD EVENTS SYSTEM
In addition to the wedding prep, we will be adding a really exciting new feature for Guilds:
the Guild Event System!
This new feature will allow Guild Masters to create short-duration events (3, 5 and 7 days) for Guild Members.
Event types include Monster Kills, Player Kills, and Elections.
ELECTIONS
This 'election' event allows a tremendous amount of freedom for anything a Guild might "vote" on.
Best costume? Best stand-up comedian? Best poet? Most admired Vampire? Most charitable? Most desirable?!
Guild Members can "Vote" for any Guild Member. Members are listed on the leaderboard by the number of Votes they have received.
PLAYER KILLS
This option allows you to run a 'PvP Event' for your Guild, awarding points for each player kill that your members acquire.
MONSTER KILLS
Award points to members for monster kills anywhere in the game, or in specific Campaigns!
Here's a breakdown of the details:
First, choose the GUILD EVENT icon from the Guild page
It's the blood-filled goblet in the lower right-hand side of your screen...
Select the type of Guild Event that you want to run.
Election and Player Kill Event Types have no options, but Monster Kill Event Types do.
You can restrict Monster Kill Events to specific Campaigns (choose any number of them).
You can also restrict Monster Kill Events to only award Score when players earn 'kills.'
If you don't choose any Campaigns, kills will count anywhere in the gam (in any campaign, regardless of player level).
Players can see Event restrictions by clicking on the 'options' button when the Event is running.
For all events, Guild Masters set the start date and time:
End dates and times are selected automatically when you choose 3, 5 or 7 day event durations.
When all required info is set-up, the Event is ready to 'create!'
The Guild Master's Event message and a count-down to event start will appear on the Guild Event page before the Event commences.
...then, for the duration of the event, participating players will appear on the Guild Event leaderboard!
We're super-excited to hear about your Guild Events!
Hit me up with your questions and comments here...
Best wishes, Vampires!!
