No need to announce who spends most play/gold on awakes. It’s obvious when
multiple pieces are in cs or TM. Some players rather not be known on the amount spent on awakenings.

But doesn't the Easter event all about who's got the most gold as well?

Introducing a leaderboard with exclusive incentives entices more players to spend.. Overall, everyone will benefit from a more efficient gold sink as well as more awakened gears. Right?

It’s a bit different, bc easter points can be farmed, not solely bought with plat/gold What op is suggesting I feel infringes on privacy on how a player chooses to use RL money.

Confidentiality can still be maintained with an option to opt out from the lb.

Now that the privacy issue is solved, an lb for this event will be for a greater cause for both parties.

If they make an option to opt out of LB for this, (which would be the only way some players
would choose use awakenings) STS should make an option that allows players to hide their name on all LB categories, and allow players to select the option to display their name anytime during the season the season. That would make things interesting.

There’s nothing to be awaken. And i can see a lot of gold to be made by hoarders before the expansion hits.
