don't lose faith my friend, there isn't many players on playing SL. Most are 20+ and have enough alts.

They are playing PL, until the main release of SL

i can see guilds becomming alot more active when release hits...especially if pvp is added right away. Pvp will be the kicker, with guild pvp matches. I might actually have to try it in sl.

hey...a couple things. when is this thread going to get stickied? definately needs a sticky.

second thing, what do you all think about adding a 1 line summary of the guild beliefs and what they stand for? Basically let ppl reading this thread get a brief summary as to what each guild stands for and believes in. Sorry to throw more work at ya, cascade, but i think it would be beneficial.

and as a note, i do not envy you with updating your table of guilds when SL releases...i can see a bunch of new guilds being started.

I dont see why that is needed when all you have to do is click on the link to the guild page and bam all the info you need

i was just thinking that instead of ppl looking for a guild having to go from this thread to another guild page, then back for each guild, they could see like a 10 word statement summarizing what the guild does....give them an idea that this guild might work for me, then go to the guild page for all the details.

for example, when pvp gets implemented...im sure there will be pvp guilds. some players dont like pvp. if there was a brief summary, and the guild had pvp as their summary, then ppl who dont like pvp can bypass that guild where as ppl who are looking for pvp guilds can focus their attention on those links only.

We now have 78 members. Ill be capping the guild at 100 members when the game launches so after that point i wont be updating BM much.

meh...would get repetitive with "we believe in honor, friendship, blah blah blah" crap that you see on cheesy marine corps commercials.
Let people try them out in game...only real way to see
