+1, really good idea. Another idea would be to add a global boss which has a very huge amount of health such that a top geared player would only be able to take 0.01% of health if he attacks continously. Then similarly create a leaderboard, and when the global boss is killed, maybe reward players according to how many % of the boss' hp was cleared by them.

Many moble games have guild or clan bosses as well that reward players for working together daily to take them down. Fun daily and rewarding activities would be a great addition for incentive to keep playing long term. Like for example getting keys for locked crates. Like the idea of adding things like this to the game.
