    Exclamation An idea on how to get rid of botters and on how to fix gold inflation

    How about we have durability added to specific types of gears and you have to pay gold in order to repair the items from excessive damage?

    Eg:

    500 gold to fix a spirit sword/belt/whatever

    1,000 gold to fix a mythic sword/belt/whatever

    The weapons take hours or whatever is chosen to repair when it's completely damaged from combat.

    Everyone keeps gaining tons of gold anyway, the fees won't be an issue.



    Also, did i mention.... add loot to the new expansion maps and also any teaser on the Lv81 elite maps? thx lol

    To address concerns:

    This mechanic is already available in major MMORPGS for the exact same reasons i stated.

    Gold drops in incredibly large amounts now too. The newer players who afford mythic weapons will most likely afford 1,000 gold repair fees per 10 hours or so. (An example)

    add premium pet food for gold or 2 plat that increases passives/stat/aa/duration of happyness before they need to be fed again

    True it is in alot of other games It wouldnt be an issue if it was implemented...minor inconvenience for us but that's OK

    Add a 1 billion gold vanity which can we bought from sir spendsalot or 1 b per armor helm maybe also 1b for wings and easy gold sink is there.

    I never said the durability mechanism being exclusively applied to the crafting station.

    It can be 1 simple click in the inventory, like liquidating your items. That's pretty much it.

    That will only happen to players who play for 10 hours straight or more then.

    Better u post on Al suggestion so assomers can give u an answer if they will think or if disagree with it. Always ideas should be posted there, at general discussion as name means, just the community will discuss, and i think u want to a dev take a look at it.

    Good idea, that will be the time every rich player will have 3 of the same weapon in case one breaks down, they can use the other one

    Moved to Suggestions and Feedback forum.

    Also - this discussion is fascinating to me. I've done decay designs for speculative Legends projects in the very recent past. I'm curious to know how the Arcane Legends expert views various possible implementations. For instance: assessing equipment damage only when remaking / entering a dungeon versus assessing equipment damage in real-time.

    In my opinion, real time damage sounds more enticing due to the fact it'll keep the player engaged enough in the dungeon to make sure his equipment is healthy for continuance.

    The repair capability can even come with portable repair kits that can only be used once per equipment but repair it only a good 50% compared to say, for example a blacksmith repairing your item to 100% for a fee.

    As i said in my thread before, durability may only apply to specific rarities/items or become universal.

    +1 I like it.
    But not for equipment that already exists or that we own, it would be really annoying to have paid for something and now it works differently.
    For a new rarity, such as spirit, arcane, mythic, etc.
    Those gear and weapons could be "breakable rarities" and maybe recycle some old but really stronger proc, they could compete with the existing ones, because they wouldn't be really profitable, and you would have to strategically think about where to use them so they don't go to waste.
    It would serve to relaunch old items maybe too.
    It would also be better if it costs only gold, or some repair pack, craftable with existing items and gold.
