Hi guys
recently ive been working on keeping my death as low as possible and kills as high as possible, but i have a question. How is the ratio calculated ? because if you have 0 deaths and x kills, then it cant be kills/deaths.
Thanks

0 or 1 death gets you the same k/d ratio... I think.
A 0 in deaths is calculated as a 1, so 10,000 kills and 0 deaths is a 10,000 ratio and would show up the same as it would if the toon had 1 death.
Oh thanks.
so it is just #of kills/#of deaths?
isnt that a horrible(no offense to anyone) pve ratio?
but thanks
Ratios are nearly as overrated as dps. I'd rather run with a group with trash stats but everyone is doing their job than a bunch of ratioers refusing to get close enough to use skills for fear of ruining ratios

I personally like keeping my ratio looking good, but I'm not afraid of a couple drops every now and then.
It's like fixing a car: Dents can be pounded out; once you have a dent, it'll never be perfect again, but it can still look good

I said this in another post, and got attacked for it by ratio'ers. But it's true. Ratio players that give it their all in battle are few and far between.Originally Posted by Kraze:391321

I farm a lot and when you farm you get deaths and lots of other yucky bad stuff, like a whole inventory of greens.
