    Lolz nice lol lol..

New England is not used to anything but blizzards and the occasional major wind storm. None are prepaired for this, i believe that is the largest earthquake to ever hit, ( i could be wrong) But just like blizzards many have not ever experienced a blizzard or an ice storm to the magnatude that some states do.

I am in Greenbelt MD (right outside the DC beltway). It was pretty trippy, but on the good side, I did get to go home early yesterday

    Default crazy

So let me add a story, I work here in NYC at 106 th Terence C Hospital. Workin in a sub acute where people pass all the time. So here's the story. Before the earthquake our housekeeper was working in this room where a patient recently died. I barely felt it so I was witness to the entire event, being at the nurses station and room close by. So She started screaming "it wasn't me" "it wasn't me" "please please go in peace" "god loves you go into the light" I looked over and I was confused till It clicked. My housekeeper believed poltergeist was causing the bed, drawers and the stand to shake. Never mind the earthquake, I cracked the hell up. I never laugh that hard in my life. She ran out the room and notice what was going on and turned bright red. Looking at me laughing my *** off.

You laugh, but in the 'Before Picture', there was a bottle of beer on that table. Though it may seem insignificant to you, those of us that lived through it are still suffering from the devastating loss.

FWIW, some people actually had their homes condemned due to the damage.

LOL funny picture!!! I think the whole reason it was so shocking is because we don't have things like that happening here. In 27 years, I have never experienced that. So I was very surprised and it was new to me and a lot of people. But nice pic, Sam! I LOL'd!

Schools are closed today in a wide area, dc shut a lot of things down for structural inspections and damage, the monument had cracks in it, etc etc.. An old apartment complex crumbled.. There was some damage but it was minimal.. That is a good thing!

An apartment complex crumbling is only “minimal” to people who don't (didn't) live there.
