    Default We need checkpoints!

    With these new AO2 maps beig so large, there should be respawn checkpoints or a new enchantress skill where they can place a respawn checkpoint. Either works for me, but playing as a enchantress and being the only one in the group, it really sucks having to take that long walk of shame after dying...any thoughts on this?

    Give the enchantress a skill to summon a revival aid, one use, expires on zoning, only usable to revive the enchanter it belongs to, loads of mmos have em.

    Or Maybe have a Resurrection Potion?? Maybe around 100 to 500 gold each?

    Not so keen on the idea of anyone being able to revive anyone, healers aren't needed that much as it is without taking another thing away from them.

    Checkpoints sounds like the best idea and he wasn't suggesting that anyone could revive anyone would just have to make those potions untradeable and that only the owner could use it

    Great Idea especially if the newer campaigns are going to be as lengthy as this one.

    I like the revival aid skill idea...I just hope this thread is read by a dev.

    Gosh, I don't know...

    Y'all have been in groups where there's one person who does the same stupid thing over and over and gets killed repeatedly, right? As an enchantress, I get tired of rezzing the same dang person over and over again. I get tired of being involved in wipes where people had "split DPS" and killed everything but the one thing [THE BOSS] that could kill us all.

    When things like that happen, I'm sometimes grateful for the walk back, because if people have to walk back enough, maybe they'll actually LEARN something about why or how they died, and in the interest of not having to run back again, change how they play out the encounter the next time.
