Seems like there's almost always a 40% plat sale during events, especially in events where players spend lots of plats.

event keys? u mean keys for arcane catacombs? thats not an event, its permanent addition to the game, it just closes and opens seasonally
u didnt check well enough, key crates r on sale 14th and 28th, yes, the 50 key packs
