    Default Week 2 of Zodias Arcane Catacombs / FAQ / 86 Expansion News

    Thanks to everyone that has provided feedback on the Zodias Arcane Catacombs! We hope you feel that it is a worthy addition to the game.

    Since questions that keep popping up in various places instead of the feedback thread, we thought we'd make a single location where the answers to your most asked questions can be found.

    We're running out of Fathoms!

    The Catacombs are open for an entire season (3 months). Also, we have no plans to drop Fathoms in the Catacombs or adjust the current Fathom drop rate.

    Can we trade or craft the looted class-specific wearables with something else?

    Sorry, no. You can use the looted items that are not for your class with alternate characters.

    Can you increase the looted gold?

    We have no plans to adjust gold drops. The Catacombs are not meant for you to both earn top gold and loot Arcane items. Although the Catacombs dungeon drops the most gold taking all treasure rooms into account, we do realize the gold/hr farmed may be lower if it takes you longer to clear the dungeon.

    Can you reduce the difficulty?

    It's meant to be a hard dungeon. We feel it's fairly well-balanced and have no plans to adjust difficulty.

    Are you going to make any further changes to the dungeon?

    If the change affects gameplay, more than likely, no. The leaderboards are already underway and we don't want to make any changes that will affect existing spots.

    However, there has been a request to make MechAnubis larger which we are looking into.


    We don't have an event lined up this week, but to keep you in the loop, the team is currently working solely on the new 86 expansion. We expect it to be ready for release near the end of the summer. We'll have some simple events between now and the release of the expansion. The roadmap will make a return once the expansion has been released.

    We have no information about the expansion other than we are working on it at this time. Stay tuned for more information about the expansion in the coming weeks!

    Thank you very much for such excellent content. +1000 so that the boss is a bit bigger and can be seen clearly, sometimes the mobs don't allow it to be seen. I have lost attacks with kraken sword hehe.

    Only one question, in the description of the title that is awarded to the top score, says that it will be given to the top 50. Is it a mistake or are they going to give this to every 50 of each class?

    Don't rush the expansion, take ur time with it. All the new damage types and skill revamp should be difficult to balance

    Sorry, it's top 10 (we changed it before Catacombs went live). The description is fixed if you patch (log out and log back in).

    Thanks for the update on roadmap.

    I have 2 questions.

    Can we expect the skill revamp you've been working on to be released during expansion? I feel like this would be the best time to release it.

    When can we expect aura split to happen? Sometime after expansion is released before expansion?

    Thank you for the update.

    I would guess any Skill Updates would occur around the same time(I have seen it as a topic a number of times and also wondering myself.).

    If there are Large Changes coming anytime 'soon' i think it is best to tease early than late.

    The Skill Revamp is broken up into a few different components. There's fixing the Ultimate skills (that are too weak and those that nobody uses), adding some cool new Passive skills, adding a suite of new Class skills (that take new weaponry into account), and updating existing Class skills to provide more power and more variety for builds.

    Right now we think that improvements to the Ultimate skills and new Passives ought to fit comfortably into the time we have for the 86 expansion.

    I have multiple questions:

    Will a new class specialisation system be introduced with many path that can be chosen or are we going to stay with the main (tank/2 dps) model ?

    Will the new expension bring back to old AL vibes?

    Isn’t it possible to introduce the skill revamp before the new expension? (At least some parts)

    Will all classes conserve their heal spell?

    Will all classes conserve their defensive spell?

    so it's mean, you guys now focus on developing cap86 and give us mini and boring event until it's done? so we all player can focus on catacomb too? hmm...

    I mean it's not that bad, for those with better mythics could attempt the catacombs for better gears. While spirit gear users could level up during this time.

    This is one of the best times to play since the end game gears have reached a ceiling, making it easier for us to catchup, since 86 is coming.

    releasing expansion too soon? Arcane items 81 is not common to everyone, price not drop enough for the mass to buy arcane weapons.

    This time instead of dropping prices of gears , they gave us bound gears drop in catacombs , which seems fair enough if drop rate is good .
