Default What determines the amount of damage you get?

    Hello,

With the addition of new weps I noticed something strange in that the amount of dmg I get varies by ALOT

Let’s take a look at the following chakrams, their stats barely change yet one of them gives me a lot more dmg than the other

Also for the current arcane weps…

Is there perhaps a damage stat being taken into account that isn’t mentioned in description, similar to how armor/helm/belt/etc sometimes have on their description??

If devs could shed light on thjs that would be great

The only wep damage we have is the dps that is not relevant cause it is the dmg stat multiplied by the attack speed.

I agree It would be more transparent if we could get dmg stat on weapon apparent and attack speed to.

I believe it mainly due to how sts displays stats for these weapons, 999.9 dps could mean 999.9 dmg per 1 sec, or 1999.8 dmg per 2 sec, Possibly that's what's happening here, you get a lot more pure damage but the haste or actual attack are slow, Similar with bow vs daggers and Hammer vs sword for warriors.

The dps on wep only affects the dps stat (basic attacks) not the damage stat on the character page. And it wouldn’t make sense to display it like this because the damage stat affects your skill damage but the dps stat doesn’t.

dps stat is calculated by - base dmg x Attacks per second

And yes dps stat only displays auto attacks

And you're correct that higher base dmg increases skill damage.

And yes it seems, actual damage value and attack speed are not shown by the devs.
