I wish i had recorded this about a week ago during the egg event…
Im not saying that locks don’t require some sort of “luck” to acquire gear that is freshly new or meta at the moment. However, you’d think spending nearly a thousand bucks would equate to at least the gold return value of platinum to gold. Not at all the case, i can say during the egg hunt even i spent somewhere between 9000-11000 platinum on the locks available and maybe walked out with 350m worth of items. That may not be a concern for many but when it comes to Hardcore characters.. it’s a big deal. Platinum is the only way around the competitive aspect of having a hardcore legend. It shouldn’t take 3 events to see a single item newly added to the game in auction for an extreme price, or on forums even. This is strictly an opinion of mine and has no negative impact on the game or company, but if you increase the percentage on lock crates.. it would encourage players to spend more on the game knowing that there will be “something” likely obtainable rather than impossible. Word spreads on the game like wildfire and when we hear the locks are rubbish, spending becomes scarce. I get the guaranteed arcane has been a benefit and is honestly a brilliant idea, but that shouldn’t be the only way of getting an arcane. Remember, us platinum spenders are relied on so FTP players can enjoy it to. Love you guys! Great work on the skill phase!!
