    Post Player vs Player Revamp

    Good day all,
    My name is Bondable. I am one of longest playing lvl3 players of AL and a collector for items at low levels.
    I am creating this post in concerns to fixing the current state on player vs player in AL. It's been 12 years since the release of the game and since then, Pvp has not changed much other than the addition in maps.
    Firstly I'd like to address the issue where awakenings and pets have completely broken the balance of pvp in this game. Players should be rewarded bonus stats for spending time and money into building their character yes, but it should be be in such a way that is starting new is at a major disadvantage.
    Pvp should be based on a player's skill and not just their budget, this is why so many players only play Arcane Legends for pve and rarely for pvp and hence why 'Honor Pvp' did not last.
    Secondly, pvp should not be bound to the typical, pve fighting mechanic. In the previous year the developers introduced a racetrack and boat racing event which was Top Tier.
    A game-mode like that should not simply be limited to an event. It would be great to have a mini-game island where players of all levels and collab and compete against each other for rewards. This brings me also to the point of the lack of rewards for time.
    Something such a game-pass should be introduced into these side activities. This would honestly give players more reason to stay engaged in the game rather than just farming for gold to get better gear. The entire point of an MMO is to communicate with others whether that be co-op play, competing or simply having conversations.
    Anyways I won't go too into detail on anything further but that's about it.

    pvp low key does need a revamp i feel like its so dead and the only time ppl play it is when its a guild event

    Honor pvp still exists and it's specific gear at the level cap without awakenings. It should be relatively balanced based on our combat tests, but it probably wouldn't hurt to do another balance pass (plus some requests for looking into debuffs).

    We have plans to add racing and fishing to guild events.

    If possible make the fishing and racing a permanent mini game in AL. Or maybe open during weekend only...whatever works. We need more fun factors to be added to AL.

    Adding fishing and racing for guild events sounds like a really great idea.
    Would there be an option to go against other guilds as well or would it only be a closed guild event.
    Either way the idea sounds great. Implementing mini- games that are unique to AL's normal way of combat would definitely get players hooked.
    If possible I've always seen that players are heavily invested into events and premium gears. Having like a monthly pass would definitely keep players in the race of grinding.
    I am not to sure how hard getting these ideas done would take but definitely it's a good start.
    Recently since you guys have updated previous events to drop weapons for lvl 1+ many players have gravitated towards these zones. Not every player tend to grind all the way to lvl86 just to enjoy some gameplay. Many players have become interested in lower brackets such as lvl1-5.
    The only con is that with being that level. A lot of pve is restricted and as such having side activities would be a great idea to encourage players to play even though they may not want to grind all day at endgame.
    Anyways keep up the good work guys, I'll be here rooting as the game continues to progress.

    I look forward to see what new gears will be added.
    Currently all recent gears for lower levels are event locked. If we can have a crate in store to purchase with plat to get gears for lower level. That would be FIRE!!!!
    I miiss the days when there was the cryostar crate that dropped the beetle gear was in store. Maybe having more crates like those to return in the plat store to drop armors for lower levels. It can be recycled gears with new names and color polish like you guys usually do for events.
    Example- Epidemic Set, Pandemic Set, Poisonous Set, Pestilent Set
    Icescales, Wintermancer, Frozen Mail.
    Hellish, Ancient Druid, Living Dead, Wicked Dead, Living Spirit, Etc

    The recent addition of lower level jewels have also been a big bonus as well. Such like. Hailstone, Yeti Blizzard, Royal Blood Jewel, Royal Bone Jewel.
    All great additions.
    But with the addition of new Jewels, I feel as though the old gems are but long forgotten. I love how with the addition of the Mentis Shard giving a solid 2dmg and 2.5 crit was added and as such the old para gem was buffed to 7.5dmg.
    Maybe revamping 1 or 2 other gems like the Necropolis Cursed Skull would be nice too.
    I know in the previous years it gave mana and a 2.5% chance to heal 2% hp if you were able to get the grand version and 1% chance for 2% with regular. Maybe buffing the mana cost and the percent proc rates to 25% with grand and 10% with regular or even something as small as mana regen since it is a mana gem would be nice as well. This was old gems are still a bit compete-able with the new ones, at least for lower levels.

    Anyways that's about all from me for now, I'm just an old geek committed to low level pvp and the game's progress. Let me know what you and the team thinks.
