Is it honest?
I can farm about 4k pts per hour, but he just sits at an exorbitant level that an ordinary player cannot catch up with.. How can you even compete for the top 5 if a person can just spend money and break away from you to an unattainable level?

I don't play lb but locked giving event pts is such a pay to win system... Even worse when it comes to top 5 based lb's.
by the way, there are another thing that add points than opening crates? or just crate hive extra points?

Every event this topic comes up, and gets ignored hard, at this point making any post regarding it will be waste,
But yeah if you willing to spend $ you will always have advantage.
Not a new topic, but there's nothing dishonest about it. There's never been a chance for the completely f2p players to win top 5 or top 10 lb. You will lose to those who will just reload on kits with almost no farming downtime. I suppose if you were extremely wealthy in the game with tons of gold, you then could just buy kits and keys to win your way up just like the guy at the top as well. Mind you, the rewards rarely pay off what you spent to become top 10. Most winners end up selling their rewards for less than what they spent to win them just so they have some gold flow for next event.
On that note, I think it's really good that you can win points by spending platinum to be #1. You may be playing 24/7, but someone else may not have the same time as you due to work IRL. In return they just spend their hard earned cash in lieu of time and its great that they get the most competitive edge. Between you vs the guy spending the cash, guess who's actually keeping the servers online and the game alive and free? Let them win, you can still strive for top 25! If you're also spending cash too, it just means you're not out spending the #1 guy.

Oh man.. Top-up players are nagged everywhere I go. What is the problem? XD Developers need funds to make the game better. They need real money too. They get it from in-app purchases.

You don't "need" plat for t5. You need time, speed, and gold. Time is the biggest aspect for many players.

Some of them have opened new lockeds in high quantities and sooner or later they'll drop from lb. This has happened before in LB event.
Do you want other people to play with, or do you think there are enough whales in the game? I wonder what the ratio of free to play and moderate spenders vs whales is. Where would the one percent be without the hive?

Eazy explanation, those top 5 accounts are funded by cinco, so they spend as much plats they want to make others try compete them. But from what i see this year, no one chasing them, and lb kinda death. Lb system is rng asf. No matter how hard you try to climb up to top 5, there will be people who didnt grind as much as you and got more pts than you.

The pts you get is randomized. A person will get higher pts than others even if they started farming the event at the same time.

If the players have more points by farming the events more meaning each players getting same points per run, then there should have bunch of overlaps in lb already. Thats why there is randomized points. It has been for years we had this systemDo you know how it works? I don't think you do...
