If you have a guild blog or website, just post the information there so that people who are inquiring about this will know there are imposters. Make it well known what the actual real, legitimate guild name is. You guys have some haattteeerrrsss!

I agree with Driaz, completely. Besides it's not like you pulled the name Knights of Cydonia out of thin air. It's a Muse song, should they report you? But hey if I made a guild (Starlight) another Muse song and there was another guild (Starrlight) I wouldn't care. Especially considering I STOLE the name from somewhere in the first place. Besides, these 'good potential members' you say you stake to lose due to this are illiterate? I mean Knights of Cydonia and Knights of Cydiona... anyone who'd fall for that wouldn't be the sharpest tack. My 2¢.

1. Whoever copies you knows you are an awesome guild.
That means they are your servants.
2. They have low IQ and do not have the capability to invent their own creative names.
3. They like wasting gold and platinum.

To everyone saying it isn't a big deal, unless you have had to experience this, you really have no clue what you are talking about. Put yourselves in my shoes for a second. You spend every bit of free time you have building a guild, only to constantly see and hear ppl say the your guild isn't the real, original one, but one of the imposters is the real one.
Bottom line, unless you have had to deal with this, then you have no idea how frustrating it is. Sorry if I do seem a little bitchy, but I'm just tired if this crap. All I want is to be able to get back to enjoying the game my my friends and guildmates, without almost every session turning into a negative one because of stuff like this. I honestly have not enjoyed PL since guilds came, and the guilds are not the problem. People doing this is the problem though. I'm sorry a guild named protectors of cydonia, maybe..... A little close to ours, but whatever. This one, Knights of Cydiona? Quite obviously made with one intention, to aggrivate, annoy, and cause grief.
