    Default Crafting/Item Disassembly

Would be nice to have a feature that can disassemble items into a material and then use that material to craft different kinds of item. This way, it would reduce the oversupply of items and it is also a good burning mechanism of items.

    For example:
To craft - Bracelet needs 10pcs of cotton
Disassemble - Bracelet get you only 3-5pcs of cotton (good burning mechanism and it will kinda stabilize the prices of other items)

*One problem that we will probably face is it would create a mess with the current prices of items. So, I was thinking of applying this to upcoming updates/items which doesn't exist yet, in case what I'm suggesting isn't a good idea for the existing items in game today.

Lmk if this is a bad idea or if you have a better idea on how we can improve it. Thanks!

We had a forge in PLA which would let you 'disassemble' any item into crafting components, but we started that game with that in mind. About the only thing we can do now (since we're a decade in with 150,000+ items and we're not about to update every item with what it disassembles to) is to create generic materials based on item type and/or rarity: Bow string, 1h Sword hilt, Legendary fragment, Epic fragment, etc. We'd then have to make this huge crafting tree with some ultimate prize at the top. I've thought about it quite a bit over the years, but our crafting interface is pretty terrible to spend loads of time crafting hundreds of subcomponents. We do have a todo list item to make jewel crafting easier, so maybe I try to see if I can do both at the same time.

I understand that it would take a lot of effort to do that. In that case, I suggest making it more simple just like what you said above.

I'm not that good in English so I'm not sure if you're pointing out the same thing as what I will say below.

Instead of creating a multiple different kinds of material, when you disassemble an item, it will turn into "[Level] [Type of Item] [Rarity] Fragment" meaning we would only need fewer and more generic materials.
Ex.: "Level 86 Weapon Arcane Fragment" or "Level 81 Accessory Mythic Fragment" something like that.

    Default Vanity Recycling Station

Ever wondered where all those extra Pumpkin Pummeler Vanities go?
Got 200 Shredder Aura collecting dust in your inventory? Wouldn’t it be nice to have a place to grind all that “useless” stuff into something worthwhile?

Well, hold onto your helmets because I had a dream (literally) and woke up with this idea:

    The Vanity Recycling Station
NPC in charge: Vanessa Recia Statham
(Get it? VANessa RECia STAtham? Genius, I know.)

So here’s the deal—Vanessa is super concerned about all the discarded vanity debris piling up in Arlor. These “Trash Vanities” are being abandoned, deleted, and, rumor has it, even clogging up Arlor’s rivers and oceans! (STS, this could totally drop on an “environment” day like Earth Day, just saying.)

To tackle this crisis, Vanessa brings her latest invention:

    THE VANITY RECYCLING STATION!!

    How It Works:
This marvelous machine “grinds” any vanity item you throw into it and spits out Recyclates—a valuable new currency based on the type of vanity you recycle. For example:

    Weapons → 4 Recyclates
    Helms → 2 Recyclates
(Exact values? I’ll leave that to the developers—y’all do your thing.)

Now, before anyone asks, “Should vanities be valued based on rarity?” —Let’s be real. Who in their right mind would grind a Top 10 LB Vanity Set? …Right? (If you do, please seek help.)

What Can You Do With Recyclates?

Recyclates can be exchanged for exclusive rewards! Of course, earning them takes dedication, so the shop prices will be high. Some sample rewards:

“Earth First” Title → 120,000 Recyclates
    “Recycler” Badge → 150,000 Recyclates
    Triple R Cape → 450,000 Recyclates
(More cool stuff TBD—open to suggestions!)

Oh, and a small catch: Each recycling process requires a tiny fee (say, 100 gold) to keep the machine running. Maybe this could even help with inflation? …Nah, probably not.

    Processing Time & Upgrades

Like any good recycling plant, this isn’t instant. Different vanities will take time to process (e.g., 1 hour for a helm).

The machine will start with 2 processing slots, but—you guessed it—premium upgrades can be purchased with Platinum to add more slots! (Gotta keep the devs happy too, right?)

    Objectives of the Event:

1.) Repurpose Surplus Vanities – Give unwanted vanities a new purpose instead of letting them sit in inventories or get deleted.
2.) Increase the Value of Stocked Vanities – Low-cost, forgotten vanities might suddenly become desirable for recycling.
3.) Raise Awareness for Environmental Issues – The event reflects real-world waste problems in a fun and engaging way.

So yeah, I dreamed this up last night. Then some guy named “Five” slapped me awake.

Anyway—what do you guys think? Drop your thoughts below! Let’s make this happen!

Recycling something is interesting, not just vanitys, but items too, since 99% of the loot in dungeons are useless and worthless items...
But the idea of a whole station would take a long time(probably years), instead, If we simplify a bit, maybe APs are a good idea related to this, not necessarily giving achievement points, but having aps to sell X amount of vanitys and Y amount of items in inventory would give vanitys, banners, titles, etc, like your rewards idea.
