What is a multiplier?
A factor that amplifies or increase the base value of something factor that amplifies or increase the value of something else.
For example;
2 x 2 = 4
2 x 3 = 6
2 x 4 = 8
The main rule Player Versus Environment (PVE) are:
1) Damage, Armor and Speed do not stack (add up), it goes by the highest (biggest) multiplier.
2) Luck, Gold loot and Experience (Xp) do stack.
The stacking in Xp is calculated differently dependant on the threat level and is not straight forward as just multipliers.

As players we have discovered that the Xp elixirs do indeed and in fact do stack contrary to the advice from our beloved makers of our game.
Examples of current multipliers on game
15% = 0.15 Ethereal Ring of Death = 15% Stacking Damage and Speed
25% = 0.25 The Screaming Mimi = 25% Run Speed
50% = 0.5 Circle of Samhain = 50% Run Speed
100% = 1 Classy Looter = 100% Chance of class-specific loot
1.5x = 1.5 Elixir Flask – 1.5x Damage (30min)
2x = 2 Elixir Flask – 2x Damage (30min)
3x = 3 Elixir Flask – 3x Damage (30min)
4x = 4 Elixir Flask – 4x Damage (30min)
5x = 5 Elixir Flask – 5x Damage (30min)
Multipliers are not shown in your Base Stats, this means when you use the item that gives you a multiplier bonus, it is not shown as a green increase on your character.
When you wear base equipment, and want to switch to another, wearing it shows the increase in green or decrease in red of your stats.
But with muliplers , these are not shown in your Base Stats and many on game do not understand this and can not comprehend any bonus. However, if you are proficient when in a Pve map you will notice the increase difference when you kill an enemy.
As players you have to calculate the bonus or notice the increase.
When in Pve the highest damage shown in one Hit is an orange colour Crit hit of 64,992 and any damage higher is shown in the subsequent hits after. So there is no maximum cap on the damage output, it does have an effect if you look carefully.

Understanding the Damage in Pve
Damage, Armor and Speed do not stack (add up), it goes by the highest (biggest) multiplier
Damage bonuses can be applied from many sources on game, some are;
Daily combo elixir
Platinum bought elixir
Looted elixir
Vanity set bonus damage
With the basic rule applied only the highest Damage multiplier works, this means that no matter what you are using from all the different Damage bonuses only the highest one takes into effect
Many on game make the mistake of using all their damage elixirs at the same time thinking their damage is added and it is not. Only the highest works which is 5x if you are using it.
This means no matter what type of damage bonus elixir you are using be it from your daily combo elixir, or looted elixir and vanity set damage, does not matter which bonus is used only the highest takes into effect and works.
Example:
Daily combo elixir of
looted elixir
vanity set damage bonus
In this example the highest multiplier for damage is 3x so no matter how many 3x are used you still will only damage 3 times the amount.
The Daily combo elixir is 1.5x
The looted elixir buff is 3x
The vanity bonus damage is 3x
The vanity set already gives 3x damage, so using the looted elixir buff of 3x damage has no effect, You still only do 3x damage. The damage does not add up.
So in the current example above the Base Damage is
6155-11155
The Daily combo elixir is 1.5x
Damage given by this alone is = (6155) x 1.5 = 9232
The looted elixir buff is 3x
Damage given by this alone is = (6155) x 3 = 18465
The vanity bonus (The Pompetus of Love) damage is 3x
Damage given by this alone is = (6155) x 3 = 18465
So the damage with this current set up is only 3x the highest multiplier is 3 times = 18465, the damage is not added.
Some players think the damage is all added together (1.5x + 3x + 3x), but this is wrong.
There are many occasions when you see players use multiple looted damage elixirs at the same time, they have more than one red pot next to their name which indicates them using more than one simultaneously.
Only the highest multiplier takes into effect and works all the other used looted elixir buffs are wasted and do not give any extra damage.
Vanity set exceptions
There are three (3) vanity sets on game that the Damage stacks (adds) to the current highest multiplier.
Bone Devil = 300% Stacking Damage (3x)
Chem Corps = 200% Stacking Damage (2x)
Exterminator = 200% Stacking Damage (2x)
There are two rings on game that have stacking percentage Damage.
Ethereal Ring of Death = 15% Stacking Damage (x0.15)
Sinful Signet of Evil = 20% Stacking Damage (x0.2)
If you are wearing these items your damage does add up and increase by the bonuses they provide.
For Example
So in the current example above the Base Damage is
6155-11155
Daily combo elixir of
looted elixir
And using the Vanity set bonus of
Chem Corps Mask
Deadly Dragon's Platinum Sword
Bone Devil Armor
Deadly Dragon's Platinum Sword
This set up gives you two set bonus of
Three (3) piece Chem Corps = 200% (2x) stacking Damage
Three (3) piece Bone Devil = 300% (3x) stacking Damage
The Daily combo elixir is 1.5x (lower multiplier - does not have any effect)
The looted elixir buff is 3x (highest multiplier)
The vanity bonus (stacking) damage is 2x + 3x
6155 (Base damage)x 3x (highest multiplier) + 2x (Chem corps stacking damage)+ 3x (Bone Devil stacking damage)
6155 x (3 + 2 + 3) = 49,240 Damage
Please be advised that the increase in damage is not shown in your base stats on game when you view your character. It is not like wearing base equipment or vanity sets and pets that give bonuses of health, damage, armor, etc. Multipliers are not shown
So you can not see the damage multiplier at all in numbers, but when you are in a pve dungeon, you can tell the difference when you kill an enemy by the number of hits it takes to kill a singular enemy or even a big boss.
