Mage best build atm?

I am a mage with the following gear.
Kraken, 7/6 sb and blood (helm, armor and arti).

I am looking to upgrade my set. Should I focus on ele set, blood orb or the combination? Or would I be better of spend my money on other things? Gold loot or ms gear for example?

To give some extra info:
My ms is 5.1
My gold loot is 1015 (with pet)

I hear people saying blood orb + bio set is meta too. Both can work, just depends on what you like?

Yes, for bosses. For mobs you need the meta blood/SB and immortal build.

For an elemental build you want:

-Blood Weapon
-Blood Helm
-Blood Armor
-5/5 Elemental Set
Any elemental set works well.
But bio set seems to be the best for now.
Because blood orb deal nature damage.
I think every blood weapon will have it's own elemental damage.

You want boss damage or elite damage awakes on your items.
Elite damage awakes would be the best.

You want 15% critical damage on your weapon (or higher).

And because you have a shadow set, put shadow gems on all your items.

The set is have is like 87 ebd and fully gemmed. Ill get blood orb even though it isn the perfect fit, to my shadow set.

Does this mean there is no need to switch between sets. For bosses just attack with the blood orb and ele set?

You still need to switch between sets for bosses.

I'll explain it in full detail.

You have 3 sets:

-1st proc build
Kraken Gun / Blood Orb proc

-2nd proc build
SB Cosmic Killer proc

-3rd damage build
Rusk Gun / Blood Orb
Blood Helmet
Blood Armor
5/5 Elemental Set

You can use blood orb for 1st proc build and for damage build.
But I think this is works the best when your blood orb is ascendant / upgraded and max level 10.

I use kraken gun for 1st proc build and rusk gun for damage.
But I don't use elemental build for bosses.
I just use 3/3 blood 3/3 SB and immortal bracelet.

I'm not sure but I think kraken and SB proc don't stack with blood orb proc.
They do stack with rusk gun proc.

I don't have too much knowledge about this so maybe someone can explain it in more detail.

Tip: For SB Cosmic Killer proc (2nd proc build). Replace your star beast amulet with your elemental amulet.
If you don't do this, your elemental proc won't activate.
