The only reason elite awakes are rising during the awakening event is because of hype. Since the awakening update, you can get all of the available awakes at any time, no need to wait for the event anymore for a chance at a 50%gl armor or 15% crit damage weapon. It's purely hype and people are still not realizing this. The only use of awakening event is that the store will have arcane and blue awakes in stock.

Honestly if you're a seller of elites during the event for the inflated price, good. If you're a buyer however, ???????.
