    Default battle pass concept

    Duration: 30 or 90 days
    Number of tiers: 50 or 100 depending on battle pass season length
    Progressive system:

    ⁃XP based: earn Xp by completing daily, story, side quests, dungeons and PvP battles (this is pretty self explanatory, it benefits players who do aps and perhaps PvP diehards)

    ⁃Daily/Weekly/Event Challenges: simple (or not) tasks that would give battle pass XP like defeat number of enemies, defeat boss without taking any damage, win x amount of matches, survive some time in battle area etc.

    ⁃Each season of the Battle Pass would have a unique theme, introducing new cosmetics, lore, and mechanics to keep things fresh. These themes could be tied to in-game events, expansions, or community-driven storylines.

    ⁃Completing consecutive daily challenges grants bonus progression.
    Missing a day resets the streak, but premium players get a grace period (e.g., one free skip per week).

    Example:
    •Day 1: +5% extra Battle Stars
    •Day 2: +10%
    •Day 3: +15% (Max cap)

    “Catch-Up” Mechanic for Late Joiners
    Players who join late can buy past tiers using gold/platinum.
    Special “Double Progression Weekends” could be an idea for next daily event.

    Free Rewards

    Tier 1: Gold
    Tier 5: Pack of Elixirs
    Tier 10: random piece of a relevant and somewhat useful weaponry that isn’t currently pricey like random Star Beast item for your class for example
    Tier 15: Exclusive banner
    Tier 20: Keys kit
    Tier 30: Exclusive Pet
    Tier 40: Upgraded pack of elixirs (additional boss loot or something)
    Tier 50: Unlocked crates x5

    For the missing tiers I would highly encourage to fill them with all sort of tokens we currently have in the game as everyone needs that, jewel chests, pet lvl ups (as long as they are farmables)

    Premium Battle Pass (x$ or In-game Platinum Purchase)

    Instant Unlock: Arcanite rarity pet
    Tier 1: 100 platinum and arcanite pet
    Tier 5: Key kit + elixirs pack
    Tier 10: Exclusive Emote
    Tier 15: Weapon vanity
    Tier 20: Premium Vanity Set
    Tier 25: Exclusive banner
    Tier 30: Exclusive aura/halo
    Tier 40: Exclusive badge
    Tier 50: Exclusive Chroma or any sfx title

    For the missing tiers again I would highly encourage to fill them with all sort of tokens we currently have in the game as everyone needs that, jewel chests, pet lvl ups (as long as they are farmables)

    Obviously this is all just a suggestion so don’t take every tier reward too seriously as it could be easily changed.

    +1 AL definitely misses this feature. Most of games have these and I think it works perfectly for both developers and players. Such an idle opportunity.

    Many other games like Dota and Fortnite have (had) this concept implemented as a monitisation model, some more succesful than others. One I encountered myself was the Hero Pass and Yak Tracks in Runescape. The implementation of the Hero Pass and the effect it has on the microtransaction aspect of the game has caused controversy within that game's community though. I don't really see that becoming a problem within AL, since the game games and communities are very different.

    Players here don't seem to have a problem with (further) monetisation as long as they get value for their money, also looking at the recent thread about "The Community Deserves Better". I also like that you've proposed a 'free' track. Personally I think it could a good idea, provided that it doesn't negatively impact the gap between f2p and p2p too much, better if not at all. It should also be worth the time and effort for the developers, as it could potentially come at the cost of developing other new content. Cosmetics could be suitable rewards. Very sensitive subject nonetheless. As soon as paying players get too much of an advantage (e.g. xp boosts, global boosted droprates), it would upset the community (and me) logically.

    They should make special effects heroic vanity or heroic gear that give your skills special vfx and special affects and sounds well giving slight 2-5% buff to stats and other cool animations

    No stat buffs but +1000 to Special Skill affects like lightning strike axe throw and thunder crush skyward smash. Purple mist clouds for curse. Different character stance poses/running and walking animations would be cool!
