Energy essence drop

I did a few runs in Cursed Elder Woods (Overhelming Numbers) and noticed i didnt drop any essence for energy. Not sure if that a bug but shouldnt they drop?

Hope it's okay if I share a message from the dev:

"Cursed Elder Woods is using the cursed dungeon code which doesn’t allow anything else."

In short cursed woods map is not part of events.
