So if that's the issue with the elix being an hour then why did you add an alternative way to get these eggs? You're talking as if this is something players have complained about. I think people would much rather you remove eggs from the locks than make the elix 10 mins. This used to be an event where any player could make a decent profit, now its only gonna be farmable by people with maxed out speed sets and even then they wont make a profit.
Oh, okay bruh. Last year, I got way more OP eggs by spending 3,400 plat on crates than by farming for the entire two weeks.
If the real issue is protecting egg value, then why are crates still available — especially since they’re the main source of the most valuable eggs?
You’re definitely not doing this to “protect egg prices.” It’s about reducing free lootable eggs and increasing paid lootable eggs through locked crate openings.
And of course, let’s not forget the elixirs — six times more elixirs means six times more revenue. Let’s just call it what it is.

I am NOT talking as if players asked for a change. Players wouldn't know that a change is necessary; which precipitates the negativity.
Players will still profit - and they'll be well-geared and reasonably wealthy. It's not at all fair to assert that unprepared, non-paying, or newbie players should profit from this event.
While we’re on the subject of hating on the egg event, may I have an eggzavier lb? Ty

I honestly can’t believe my own eyes. So the new strategy is to take probably the best event in the game, make it 80% worthless, driving the community to hate it, drastically reducing player participation — and then just cancel it altogether if it bring bad results. Brilliant. Visionary. Truly applause-worthy.
Guys pls chill. Enjoy the game and respect the decision.
Maybe its less worse then most here think. Cost for elix is higher yes. Value you get for an looted egg is also higher.
Last years felt like Eggs are overdropping. Ppl stashed like 300 Thulus - nonsense.
Like Pets you bought for like 1700 plat dropping to 10m + ppl loose their gold/value on slotted pets if they forget to sell or dont know whats coming.
That ends up in frustration.
There are many more reasons thst the decisions is not totally incorrect.
But +1 to make Elix 15-20mins![]()
Where assomers when u need him? Anyone have him on speed dial. Summon him now, we are 10 pages deep right now with no change
Well, I’m done. This is hopeless, 10 pages “FTW” and still not a single solution to any of our concerns.
@Cinco, I apologize if I came off as insulting to you or the team in any way.
Good luck to all of us for the event — let’s just hope we don’t end up losing too much gold investing in these elixirs.

Lol everyone is so triggered. Capitalism has really made it's mark on the personality and thus behavior of people, also in games it seems. Everyone wants to get rich fast with the least amount of effort. This event was absolutely OP, and it's still crazy good as it is. You could technically get almost any egg, when does that ever happen. Yes, you have to invest some to get some, but it'll still probably be worth it.
The 60 to 10 minute elixir adjustment is a bit of a steep one, I have to agree. But try to see the bigger picture instead of your digital pile of gold. This is good for the longevity of the game and the economy. Last year all the dragon eggs for example were below 1m each for up to 9(!) months after the Zavier event. That's wild and unhealthy state of item prices. We did not know how good we had it. Until now, when the devs have come to their senses and the players have not (yet). We've been spoiled.
With these changes in mind you can make smart choices in this and upcoming events as this overlaying idea might be integrated into other events and aspects of the game. Hell, it could even make you money if you make the right choices, if you know what I'm talking about. Because that's the ulitmate goal isn't it? (sarcasm). No point in ruining the game's economy like last year with a tsunami of eggs.
