I have acknowledged the criticism but I have not reversed my decision.

Here's what I will do... if the event is a huge failure and nobody plays it we will never run it again.

Since when if so many valuable players agree to an adjustment the developer denies it? I don’t think I like the tone used here. People obviously love the event and a little tweak will make the event better and looking less greedy. I’m pretty sure many players felt it in their real $ pockets. The elixir duration suggestion is thrown out without considerations? Meet with the others, discuss it, and get back to us. I would say that is more professional. I believe most of your audience are adults, if they were once kids they all grew in your game. Just think of how deep this is.
