    hello pvpers im ended up here asking for some changes in pvp.

    Recently lots of players are playing l71 pvp and the same classes aganist each (expample mage vs mage, or bear vs bear) is really good, but when it came to bear vs mage its like always bear wins, this is cause the strudiness and fury skill i think it would be way nicer to remove the the passives permanently from pvp also swiftness, and mimi ring, cause this items just ruin the fair play and players every time need adjust skill points depending on who they fight aganist.

    please make it happen sts and the pvp would be balanced again

    I’ll comment on a few select points.

    #1 Passives at 71 and how it affects the balancing: For the most part I’ll say it’s not the passives that’s limiting mages from being able to kill bears. It’s a combination of bear IB giving too much armor and Sharp/Goddess set being too weak. If we took away Sturdiness sure mages would hit harder but it’s not as if they are going to start doing enough damage to kill bears through 450 armor. If anything bears will just become far stronger now that there is no 15% dmg reduction capping everyone’s maximum output. Bears would still have a strong IB which ensures that they cannot be one shotted or take significant damage during its duration, on the flip side now their auto attacks are no longer being penalized from Sturdiness, so instead of each auto taking 250 it’s now 280. That Beck stomp taking all of your mana with MS up now takes all of your mana and half your health bar instead.

    Let’s consider foxes for a second and move away from bear. Foxes are currently bugged in the sense that their shred takes double the amount it says it’s supposed to. Level 9 shred states that it reduces armor by 90, instead it’s by 170. Foxes are a 50/50 matchup with mages and I’ve seen plenty of them die in fights despite landing shred plus a full combo. Sturdiness is responsible for that and if it was removed mages would have a next to 0 chance at beating the class. The only class that does not benefit from the existence of sturdiness is bird. Bird does 0 damage at any level above 19. There is no bird player at 71 or 76 currently making the class work and yet id just chalk it up to birds having an outdated kit while having their damage penalized by Sturdiness. If anything a buff would put them on the same playing field with everyone else.


    #2 Swiftness passive needs to go: Agreed on that point. Between its weird interaction with ranges, there’s a reason why you see at times a 10 meter talon autoing someone from well over Xbow range, and it’s combination with screaming Mimi id say swiftness passive shouldn’t have a function in PvP. 76 bears who troll and boost love running swiftness since level 71s don’t have the skill points to use it themselves.


    #3 Increasing passive level requirement: piggybacking off this post these passives do need to have a minimum requirement of 65 however. 25-40 does not have the skill points to invest into passives and for some classes like bird, where you need all of the damage possible, it’s better off not using them in the first place. Yet the classes that aren’t skill point reliant like Fox and Rhino can abuse these passives with no penalty. Shred bug + Fury means a 2H or blaster fox at 35 could one shot even a fully buffed rhino. Even without shred bug I’ve seen foxes land 500 critical on my 35 elite bird while using a longsword. This is a little too absurd.

    yeah agree with everything it's kinda hard to make perfect pvpso the key is to balance some way, also it would ne nicer to at l71 hosted games only just l71s could join so no more annoying l76 would join to ruin the game.

    might some people's complain about that too, cause l76 birds same strong as 71 other classes and then they would be not able to use it

    bears ib need to lower a bit and its would be fine but they also can stun or make our hit % lower from phantom or flying bow.

    my idea is to make honor pvp like years ago when everything was very close to the perfect and u cant change gear just to heal yourself completely up cause that's also a cheat, at honor peoples can't take gear off and bears would use str set as they supposed to what is take less damage probably than bows cause they auto hits very high

    Honor would be a great solution but we need better stats. @Cinco @Futumsh has to look into it. I’ve made a thread before but it didn’t get the traction needed to justify StS taking time away from AL to do something on PL. Honor being fixed is a popular sentiment but people don’t comment forum as much as they would if this was discussed over discord.

    L.30 Honor gear needs just 10 hit, 10 Mana Regen, 12 HP Regen, 8 Crit Chance. This is the bare minimum. A full honor update will have to go by each class individually buffing stats by a different margin. Bird for example would need more damage on the talon and more crit. Bear would need more armor.
