Summer time Arlor
The summer vacation season is beginning and i was thinking it would be good to turn Arlor into vacation resort. It could last a month (July) or 2 months (July & August) and it would be as follows:
One sand Island with Palm trees (you could use map from fishing event), but sand area would be bigger. In the middle you could put big pool, where players can sit as in hot tub in houses (so say up to about 20 players around the pool). There would be sun loungers all around pool where players can rest, also beach umbrellas and buffet to give it "summer vibe".
But what is so special about it?
- players could use it as special (bonus) town during summer days (you can add LB and stash in there)
- level would not matter
- buffet guy would have themed vanities for both tokens and platinum + summer drink (elixir) for platinum, some elixirs for tokens (maybe fish ones), summer time themed house location and furniture
- aaaand, there would be Octopus Boss monster
Boss fight:
- every hour boss would spawn in middle of pool throwing all players out of the pool
- level doesn't matter, boss can't kill player, just push him away, so player risks of not getting loot (fight with afk)
- by killing boss players get + 1 summer token (+2 with double boss elixir)
- boss has special loot (mini-octopus pet, maybe aura or summer mythic weapons with decent procs for endgame), badge and title, but to unlock this loot table player needs to use summer drink from buffet NPC. This drink is new type of elixir. It has no timer, but allows player to kill 10x octopus boss before it vanishes.
- boss would also drop treasure map to one lucky player (big questionmark would appear above his head)
- this player has 5 minutes to complete task: open mini-map to see position of treasure and once it is discovered 5 random players in area get between 10k - 100k gold.
It is too late for this summer, but perhaps in future we can see summer hub for players.
