Can't equip item!

I went to pocket legends today and I could equip my crossbow! It's a snipers battle cbow.
I was the right level, and I had the right dex, but then it said I didn't have the right stats! Can anyone help?

Your Dex must meet the requirement without stat boosts from other items. IOW, take off all your gear, then look at your Dex. It is likely not high enough to equip the bow.

Not even all your gear, try only taking off your bow, if it's too low, buy respec points, and put a little more than the required amount. Is this character a bowtress, or a pure archer? If it's pure, put all your attribute points in dex for the best performance.

Hi, same happened to me. I asked all my lv 45 archer friends to equip it, and the result was that it was unequipped or there was simply no equip botton. Here is a picture:

I think that they may have changed this a while ago so that stat boosts from other items can't help you equip an item. Try unrquipping all your gear. My guess is your base Dex is under 92. Or maybe it's a bug...

Uh ok now i tried EVERYTHING and i still can't equip it... and i recognized that my helmet was unequipped too after i tried to equip that crossbow. Devs can you please fix that?

This happened to me when I got a desert shadow staff of thoth after using a dreamers one. They require the same stats but it gave me trouble when i tried equipping it. Eventually after trying enough things I eventually got it to work. Sorry I can't be more specific but I literally just unequipped things and re-equipped them until it worked.

Try unequipping everything, and then equipping exactly the items you want to use. It's likely you don't qualify for one of the items you're trying to put on because removing the item you're replacing causes you to not qualify for other items.

Already did, that was the first thing i gussed. but my (lv 45!!!) archer friends also can't equip it. and look at the picture, an item had to have +24 dex and i dont think there is such an item not even a shield+weapon combo...

Yes, this is a definite bug. My level 45 bowchantress with over 200 Dex tried to equip this bow tonight, and it did the exact same thing, even removed my helmet. My friend who has the item, and also has maxed level 45 dex, had the same experience.

yep definite bug i bought a snipers battle crossbow to put in my pink giveaway list and i gave it to mysticaldream and he couldnt equip it either.

its got nothing to do with not meeting requirements, the weapon is just plain bugged...

For the battle crossbow, it was weird! I would equip it, it said I wouldn't qualify, when I shoud've, and then I would go to town, try again, it equipped, I would go to a game, it would equip some random bow, unequip my helm, I would equip my helm, leave, join a town, I would be bowless in town, I would go to a game, have another random bow, and then go to town and have the battle crossbow equipped and my helm unequipped!
