With all due respect, I am in no way a twerp. A majority of the forum members paid for camapaigns when it wasn't free, as a result, we got gold elixirs. Now, the campaigns are free, ones that we paid for. And elixirs cost platinum. We were compensated with a shield of "Gratitude". I have paid my share of platinum to STS, asking 500 platinum for a single item is ludacris and insulting.

Well I guess that is true, thank you for for managing this in a respectful way.

It's not about the price with me, it's about the principle. If STS sells 100 of these is that going to be the number that defines "very few" that they were shooting for to make the item unique; if not this will snowball into another item that is more expensive in order to accommodate the number they had in mind. At the very least we can assume that there will be a shield counterpart... I just wonder when will it end. For all those with the counterargument: only the broke ones are complaining, I repeat, it has never been about the money at least not from where I'm standing.

If you look earlier in the thread, Sam has commented on this, although not in great detail, only to confirm the price and say that they wanted to make a very unique item. What else do you expect them to say?

I don't see what the big deal is. Even though I would never buy such an absurdly expensive thing even if I had 30k plat to burn, I couldn't care less about what STS charges for vanity items that absolutely no effect on gameplay. That being said, when I see anyone wearing this thing in-game, I will LOL heartily at your expense for spending so much money on the Honda Element of vanities.

No f2p games for me , this wasn't the game I started with, that's the problem , they can now do what they want and I bet the laugh their pants of .

Funny thing I read a article on pl site about sts and the future of f2p, not much later I see a helmet cost 500 , I was wondering is this a bet about how much u guys can get?

Let's see if I've kept all of my thread reading straight. People hate others buying elixirs because they are buying what others worked for. People hate that good gear with stats can be purchased because they didn't have to earn it like others did. People hate having to pay for maps. People don't want to have to pay for the game. Looks like STS came up with a solution, cool looking gear with no stat increases and guess what -- people hate it.

I just see it as a "support STS in futher developing the game" purchase and STS is giving a visual "Thank you" in return. Personally I feel like thanking those that buy these items as it's what keeps the game free for me.

I'd even go as far as saying that this new platinum vanity helm is a hinderance more than a benefit. It removes the ability to avail of the COP/SOH vanity set.

Personnaly I don't get the idea of spending so much on a vanity put if someone wants it go for it. It's your cash! LOL
