No combo effect for Apep Sunkiller Staff of Thoth

I buy this expensive weapon and used for a long time and didn't see any Super Freeze combo effect at all. Is anyone know the reason?

I tried testing the Apep.

I couldn't get its freeze to proc.

I tried in AO2 and was kiting various mobs to see if they would freeze, and they never did. Without the freeze proc, the Super Freeze will never go. Of course, I can't say I ever got Super Freeze before since I never really used the Apep extensively.

I then tried it in VL to see if any of the aliens there would freeze. Nope. Tried some easier aliens in Captive Audience. I kited for a couple minutes on various aliens and they all followed me while I kited without ever freezing.

It might be worth testing to see if other freeze proc weapons (and maybe even other proc types) are working at all.

I also have one of these in my collection. I've never seen them freeze.

Yeah! I've got the same as for many other locations. I've thinking if there is really a Super Freeze weapon combo in this game...

I think the procs may be messed up... but with ALL procs on weapons, the amount "hit percentage" of them is very low. Procs just give weapons a unique taste, so don't expect it to be working 100% of the time.

True, and it may be messed up by an update. I have seen it work before. Also, you have to wait a second after the enemy freezes.
