Because cigars cannot be entirely smoked, a hobo who collects cigar butts can make a cigar to smoke out of every 5 butts that he finds. Today, he has collected 25 cigar butts. How many butts will he be able to smoke?

ANSWER: THE HOBO WILL BE ABLE TO SMOKE 24 cigar butts

25 cigar butts divided in to 5 = 5 cigars ---> then, the 5 cigar butts fall of of the 5 cigars he made

Which makes another cigar, that he smokes and leaves 1 cigar butt behind
