Lonely day...

I should have made this a blog, but for some reason I decided not to make it so. Well as most of you might know I'm an assistant band director and man is it a lot of work. I hardly have any time for myself. I love the idea of teaching music, but it comes with a hefty price. I only get MAYBE A day off and that's when I'm not busy with parades, and or concerts.

I've been feeling a bit low and at times on a high (metaphorically speaking). Getting a thrill out of my students actually learning is hella awesome, but at times I feel like they aren't learning or that I'm not teaching enough. Now sure they are in middle school, and my goal is high school (minimum, or college, but for the sake of being selfish playing professionally with a symphony would be my goal, I for one do not have enough patience for kids).

Teaching is great. Trust me. But sometimes feeling underappreciated by some students (who apparently dislike the fact that I'm "young"), and at times my boss sux...idk just thought I'd vent...I kinda needed a place where I could say or and write my thoughts. And if you're bound to troll..COME AT ME BRO!!!...jkjk but seriously the only time I feel I have to myself is when I play any STS game, so for that I do thank STS.

Anywho happy gaming and remember I'm usually selling Pizza and Coke for 3.5M in Balefort lol

I remember what I was like around those ages, and, man I was dense. I had no idea WHAT I should be appreciating, but I sure knew everything (at least thought so). Know what I mean?

Haha yeah...I know I was bad in middle school lol so it's part of growing up I guess...I have a convention for band directors today ugh...I might take pix and post some on this thread as an edit btw

Teachers deserve more than ever. One of my friends in real life is my once music teacher. You can influence a lot of people without knowing it!
