Ally items: Lesser, Greater, Minor, Major. Anyone crack the code?

Anyone figure out what's the best one? Is it greater or major?

afaik it goes lesser, minor, greater, major.

I don't think it makes a difference. I've gotten a pink weapon from each allie type. May be a difference in how strong the weapon is... I don't know. I'd need a journal and more data than what i'm doing to figure it out. But all categories will drop pinks, rarely.

Yes, KillaSkillz, all drop pink. However, the power of the weapons do vary substantially. I think the Viper Twins are the best, or at least the best I've seen.

For instance, for LVL19:

Life Mauls of Bashing (standard pink): 31 dam, 49.2 DPS, 24 attack, 6 defense, 20 health
Hammer and Sickle: 28 dam, 44.2 DPS, 9 attack, 7 defense, 105 health
Hook and Mauler: 30 dam, 47.5 DPS, 9 attack, 4 defense, 110 health
Mace and Dagger: 30 dam, 47.5 DPS, 3 attack, 4 defense, 143 health
Kata Blades: 30 dam, 47.5 DPS, 11 attack, 11 defense, 75 health
Viper Twins: 33 dam, 52.5 DPS, 13 attack, 8 defense, 75 health

The Viper Twins also come in 2 configurations. For instance for lvl21:

35 damage, 55.8 DPS, 10 attack, 9 defense, 105 health
35 damage, 55.8 DPS, 14 attack, 9 defense, 85 health
