From my pvp experience 50 to 71 caps,
The 50 cap required alot of speed and range knowing which decreased the two luck based stats "dodge and crits" importance's.
In the mid 56 The global cool down came (Once the speed was fixed) to the 66 cap, the spells timing and the range was important which still let a chance to everyone to win the fight without any "luck".
Today, with the new cap, you get -1 or -2 range by running backward. Bird's repulse, blast and blind speed has been slowered while most of the other spells birds: screams, roots, buffs. Bears: slashes (unconfirmed for other spells) Mage: debuffs, fire, lightning, drain, ice speed has been increased (Some of them might be just the same speed) Note* when I say speed its the amount of spells you can cast while other spells. Example: blast + repulse = 2 mage debuff + fire + ice + light. Now the skill RANGE is non existant except for the 2 first hits so the "luck"factors ( crit , dodge ) has taken all the place in pvp.
Example : You cannot win a fight that a mage dodges a blast anymore. Maybe timing? For mages with heal, drain and debuffs and bears with their low range combos yes but not for birds since range and the heal while moving affected it the most,
In conclusion, the sets were never unbalanced. (Except for the mage dodge since mana shield should make up for it both combined makes it overpowered.)
I see alot of people switching to mages because of this. PL should not only be the image of one class.
The mechanics made them unbalanced.
I highly suggest to devs to consider what I said and review the mechanics.
It is my only goal by making this thread.
Sincerely,
~ Kanital
