All im saying is if the Devs were to at least make the spawn area off limits to the opposing team and to keep teams from hiding back in their spawn make it unable to be re-entered unless you are "re-spawning" like with DL! This way it not only keeps spawners from inflating their stats but it also would make it a pain in the butt for these people who are kill farming there own toons.

Kill boosting is kinda dumb. I don't do it because I like the satisfaction of knowing I "earned my kdr" so to speak. I don't mind if others do it though. Not like it affects me at all.
Just make the high score boards into an active leaderboards.
What I mean is have people with high kdr face each other. Lets say if you're ranked x'th you have to face people +/- 100 your kdr. If you don't face them within a set amount of time lets say 2 weeks month then you're taken off the leaderboards. SO for example: if you're farming off a noob with negative kdr, those kills will count as inactivity. So it will force people to join real games and fight others.
So by implementing this people with legit KDR will stay at the top, and those who farm will drop quick off the boards.
Problem solved.
P.S. sts might have to implement this to 1-2 decimal places b/c i figure most people will be within single digits
EDIT: this will only solve the KDR leaderboards which I think if implemented will be more important than total kills.

I saw a team of three farming 2 naked birds. And then they team whoever joins the final spot. And these people weren't no names... Rather not say on the forums...
another thing ppl do is go into a 5v5 and sit in the enemy spawn and team them
even 5 people cant break out
That's not a bad idea.
But the best solution would be to introduce a real ranking system, like Elo. Elo is used in chess, but computer games use it as well (e.g. League of Legends).
The main idea is that you earn points depending on your opponent's rating. E.g. if you have a rating of, say, 500 and the guy you killed has 500, you get 16 points. If he has 800, you get 32. If he has less than 200 you get very little. Ofc you lose points if you get killed, depending on your opponent's ranking
Another ranking system used in video games is Microsoft's TrueSkill.
Not sure how easy it would be to implement something like this in PL but it would definitely help with the kill-farming-by-killing-my-own-twink problem. Also, it would help in organising tournaments, e.g. Elite Tournament for rating > 500, beginner's for < 100.
But most importantly, it would provide an objective means of assessing player's skills = real leaderboards.

Any 55/56 players looking to farm kills should look for hunnytanker in PvP over the next couple of days. Make sure you get your farming in soon because once I get a couple hundred deaths it will start getting tougher.
