Blackstar will most likely be VERY similar to Pocket Legends. Which is a great thing. No clue about Borderlands though.

That's a sorta smart thing to say OP... but the release of Blackstar we know will be VERY similar to Pocket Legends. It will improve on:

    1. Less grindy missions than in PL.
    2. Story from the outset/start (re: this was added in quests etc later after PL became successful in .dot updates)
    3. Combat will be the same point and click and the classes are the same.
    4. Some more diverse challenges eg puzzles with switches and sequences etc and oc the big bosses is same as PL.

Space Combat is Not in the release and may not be added at all... but there is hope it will be.

The PvP details have not been discussed either but they might be improved on a lot as they should be designed straight away. I wonder what differences there will be: 1. Modes 2. Teams 3. Skills PvE <=> PvP ?

However, Barnes admits that the team made a key mistake when it came to Pocket Legends' PvP gameplay: It focused on PvE first and then tried to tack on PvP later. Trying to balance PvP after the fact became extremely difficult, which is why Spacetime decided to focus on PvP first in design for all future titles.
    5. Release will only 15% (or 1.5 Yrs worth) of content so maybe Space combat could come along later?

A little older, wiser, and richer, Spacetime is on the verge of releasing its second mobile MMO: Blackstar. Blackstar was Spacetime's canceled PC project, which the team is reworking to fit a smaller platform. Barnes describes it as cool-looking characters running around killing monsters, jumping into spaceships, and blasting each other.
    6. Hoping some big surprises still to come closer to release!

    7. So it's not too much like borderlands but it's similar diable-loot-pick'up and rick IP game.

    8. In fact there are not too many cool space-shooter mmos out there atm, so Blackstar if it took that route later would be disimilar to everything else.
