Why are all you guys teaming up on Yich? TO get this straight the forgotten items are OBVIOUSLY WITHOUT DOUBT OP and ruins ALL OF PVP, MAJORITY OF IT! And it seems people think, "if its so good just use it"..... NO! We play this game cos we have passion, it had something in it to make us play, Its very unlikely ill play this game again if all I do is 1-2 hit somebody or get 1-2 hitted.... But MOST of the people who are against the complainers are normally PVE'rs, well these forgotten items would OBVIOUSLY be like heaven for them.... So I say why dont they make them only accessible in PVE, not PVP, so both sides are HAPPY! AAAAND so people who spent a lot of time and platinum for it dont get ticked off.. Even so, I dont think it will solve the problem as most people do PVE, not PVP...D: which means the twinking items still wont sell as good and may still decrease in price..... *sigh*

Low level PvE is less common than you think. Sure, there are always a lot of games, but many of those are just noobies who are doing a quest. Rarely is there a good party or two actually farming. WF items would still have value if these were made pve only.
No, I mean the people that have been around awhile and are widely known in the pvp community.

and they rush mostly everyone, so make sure you rush em back
Hey STS I hope you'll read this but
on avg most players who pvp at low levels (10-20) spend at least 35+10+10 plat on each toon for (4 pack dex, ring, face) <--- is considered a MUST for most pvpers.
on top of that, players needed gold for armor/winter items/etc and that meant spending plat (for some) to aquire the gold.
but now with these bows, many of these players do not require anything but a bow to kill...I mean go try it out yourself...make a naked bear with 6 rage or a bird with 6 evade and equip a purple bow. You can pretty much roflstomp rush kill anyone.
So what i'm saying is that prior to this update, the majority of people were motivated to aquire the best gear (both plat and purchasable) b/c every extra stat counted but now it doesn't really matter anymore b/c hitting 200 is no different than hitting 220. It's come down to whoever autos first or gets the lucky crit/dodge/etc.
It is no longer a necessity and there's no longer value in purchasing plat items for few points advantage in stats.
So from a business perspective you are possibly going to hurt your own business with not properly thought out updates like this.

I really dont like these bows.... because before they made these bows (for example level 12 twinking) you had to buy plat to get ur gear some money to get additionak gear and have a decent build.. and ur good to go... but now withbthese bows ( gun mensioned this ) all u need is a bow rage/evade and ur off owning pros.... ajd the worst part (for me) is when the noobs get cocky T_T

Please do not criticise others without a proper reason. Bad guide? Seriously? Try making a guide, I do NOT think you can actually make a guide as good as this. You wouldn't know how much effort was actually spent into making this guide. Instead of saying thanks or saying nothing at all, you said this is a bad guide. I've personally met you in game, no offence, but I do not think that you're as experienced as Entertaining, Yich or anyone mentioned in the ' Thanks to' section. Your post simply made yourself seen as an immature, well at least by me. Please appreciate other's effort to help the new and less experienced players, not by saying bad about it, of course. If you ARE such a good guide-maker, well, actions speak better than words, make a guide. You sure will earn respect if your guide is good enough. But I would say that this post of yours earned you nothing, it only made me disrespect you.

And we have hades' new guide. Buy a low level bow, get to level 10-17, use evade or rage, kill everything. I hope he at least gives gundamsone credit when/ if he makes a guide.

BUT, I have tested and proved that if both players consent to say "go",
you can win with an xbow versus their Forgotten Bow, assuming you have to skill
and knowledge of how to kite the Forgotten Bows
The guy with the forgotten bow could easily just hide behind a tree....
Ok but so you go flank or just stop fighting until the coward comes out trees aren't that thick and not all maps have trees
One could argue the coward is the one hiding behind the Xbow >.>

Using an xbow against anything but an xbow was considered unfair before, at least to some. The only thing you could do is hide behind something. Same thing applies with the forgotten bow. Hiding behind a tree is smart, not cowardice. Using the OP bow is a bit annoying, but xbow vs forgotten bow is anyones game. Dont mistake strategy for cowardice.
cowardice?....anyways, i agree. But, honestly, If you have skill you can beat a forgotten bow even if he uses trees.
