IMO, how far you got in a tourney does not show how good you are, as there is always someone who was probably taken out by someone else that could beat you (or me).
Example? Flawless in the bird tourney. He is capable of beating me and has done so many times, but he didn't last as long as I did. It's just the way you get matched up. :/
