Firing gloves seems to conflict with many vanities, especially the ones with special effects. I'm pretty sure I don't have a complete list of pieces that are having trouble, but heres those that I know of for sure
Hearts of Hearing: floating hearts effect disappears
Little Luck 2012/Bigger Luck: floating four-leaf clovers effect dissapears
Little Love 2012: floating hearts effect disappears (fairly sure happens with Bigger Love, but I don't have one to test with. Someone please confirm)
Robo-Reindeer: entire pet disappears
Rover: entire pet disappears (already have a thread on this specific one, but it seems to be part of a larger problem)
Furious Eyepatch: special effect disappears
Agent's Bow: sparkles effect disappears
Shield of Justice: floating stars effect disappears
Thunder Hammer: glow effect disappears
Prototype X-1 Metal Helm: glowing eyes disappear
Trickster's Staff: glow effect disappears

The torch effect on phase injectors and welding torches disappear when fired
Welding Torches: flame effect disappears
Phase Injectors(legendary): flame effect disappears
Void Holders: swirl effect around plasma canisters disappears
Any of the new 41-46 gloves: red glyph disappears
Flamethrower (from infested deck event): flame disappears
