One thing I did notice is that I seem to get slightly more xp from the later BM dungeons than from the first one, Lost Valley. I've seen this before in previous campaigns. I find in Lost Valley I'm getting around 4-4.5 xp per kill, while if i go to Dragon's Nest I'm getting 5. I'm at level 72 currently, so I'm guessing perhaps that this has something to do with the threat color that's been previously discussed. Maybe the bad guys in Lost Valley are Level 71 and those in Dragon's Nest are higher.
Does the skill of beckoning by a bear raise the threat level? I've never seen any other time an exclamation mark pops up unless its totally random.
heres where to find the threat level
see the yellow dot by his healthbar
Never noticed that. What are the different levels of threat?
I think it's white(at your level), yellow(usually at your level but you havent killed enough enemies in map), red(above your level), blue(you're to high)
I could be wrong, I really haven't done much scaled farming since 56 cap
As both 71 and 73 (solo) I see enemies in the beginning of Valley "white". In the beginning of Magma, yellow. So each kill in Magma should give more xp. However, what counts is xp/time. So see how much xp/hour you can get from each level and decide what's best.
Btw, I too noticed that in upper levels you get more xp/hour. But this could have happened because of variation in group efficiency.
When danger reared its ugly head, he bravely turned his tail and fled / Yes, brave Sir Robin turned about and gallantly he chickened out / Bravest of the braaaave, Sir Robin!
