So is AL out in the US yet?

but i have a question: as i do not live in either canada or australia, i dont know much about the game yet. so i was wondering whether the leveling process works more like PL or more like DL? from the pictures that ive seen, it works more like PL however i could be wrong. so yea, just wondering
