For anyone getting the 'Trial accounts may not make purchases' message, you can avoid the problem by making the purchase immediately after logging in (after being offline for a couple minutes), before joining or hosting any games.

The problem will be fixed in Monday's update.

well on the update, it said early next week, so it can be either tomorrow or tuesday...but then i hope its tuesday because i have classes tomorrow
