Level Cap and XP

Okay so I've been playing at level 31 for a while now and I am getting worried that it's all in vain. Does anyone know for sure if our XP is being saved for the eventual level cap increase? I am still at 0 of 17.6k.

Also, has anyone heard any recent info on a possible date for the cap increase? The search button is bringing up nothing except that the last cap increase was back in August :\

I'm sorry to break this to you, but no, any XP you gain right now isn't being saved. When they raise the level cap, all of us lvl 31s will start at 0. That is how it worked when the level cap went from 26 to 31, I expect it to be the same this time around.

The good news it that it shouldn't take nearly as much XP to get from 31 to 32 as it did to hit 31. Usually the big XP is only needed to reach the level cap.

It is not like there is a competition who has the highest level I think, I just go through the levels for myself.
Now at level 31 I just go for gold and items.

You can start another character. I am working on my 10th level 31, which is currently 70% through level 30.

Why so many? Well... each has a different set of skills. I can experiment with different builds without buying respecs.
