This could be solved by making the respawn happens randomly...since the old DM has 4 boxes so it makes it hard to reach the respawned opponent's spot in time

The horror equipment still not helpful enough to resist especially the rats skill...you could kill your opponent without the need of crossing blades, I see the same type of the Horror equipment with separate status defense/attack/health/dmg I like the idea of multiple options to select your suitable set according to your build but you might alter them for more health to compensate for the huge blood drainage of the skills like the unholy blessing and the fatal aura or you could reduce that drainage on the skills themselves : )
