Event hosting from host screen?

In the preview it says that you can host the event from either the Hacker in the base or from the host screen.
In the host screen the event icon is locked though.
Will this be fixed? Running through base for every run gets tedious

Past events you could host from the host screen as well, even the money dungeons so yes answer doesn't make sense
